ABOUT ME

Hi there, thanks for visiting!

My name is Kaleen, it's nice to e-meet you.

I am a Long Beach State University graduate interested in creative or product copy roles,

especially in relation to children's products and entertainment media.

In my current role at Boot Barn, I am the copywriter for home, gifts,

accessories (hats, belts, jewelry), kids' and women's apparel and shoes.

Previously, I served as the Editor-in-Chief at Long Beach State's student-run media company,

22 West and contributed to Dig Magazine, an award-winning publication.

I apply my leadership, organization and professionalism to current projects.

I’m never hesitant to brainstorm a new idea and keep things fresh by incorporating a fun flair.

In these roles, I created deliverables including feature articles, campaign copy, creative briefs,

e-mail blasts and developed techniques in layout design and publishing.
